REPORT
Rohilkhand Medical College and college of Nursing, Bareilly organized a Janamashtami Celebration on 04 September 2026 at the Rohilkhand Medical College Temple from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. The programme was organized with the aim of celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna and promoting cultural and devotional values among the students.
All the students arrived at the venue on time and participated enthusiastically in the celebration. The programme began with a prayer and devotional song, which created a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.
After the prayer, several students actively participated in the programme and presented various devotional songs and dance performances. The students displayed great enthusiasm, confidence, and coordination throughout the celebration.
A special group dance performance was presented by Ms. Anjali and Ms. Manisha, B.Sc. Nursing 1st Year students. Their performance was well appreciated by everyone. Ms. Hemlata, B.Sc. Nursing 2nd Year student, presented a beautiful devotional song, adding to the spiritual and festive atmosphere of the programme.
The entire programme was conducted smoothly and successfully. Students and faculty members actively participated and enjoyed the celebration. The programme moved towards its conclusion at around 8:45 PM, followed by a concluding prayer.
After the prayer, Prasad was distributed among all the students and faculty members. The celebration concluded peacefully, and all the students left for their respective hostels on time.
Overall, the Janamashtami Celebration 2026 was successfully organized and provided the students with an opportunity to participate in cultural and devotional activities. The programme was conducted in a disciplined, joyful, and harmonious manner and was enjoyed by everyone present.
This programme was successfully coordinated by Dr. Shalini Chandra and Mrs. Karishma Goswami, with the continuous support and guidance of the Dr. Priyanka A Masih, Principal, RCN and Dr. Anitha Martin, Vice Principal, RCN. Their continuous support played a significant role in ensuring that the program was conducted smoothly, successfully, and in a well- organized manner.
