Successful Completion of 7-Day NSS Camp by Faculty of Allied and Health Care SciencesBareilly, Uttar Pradesh

The National Service Scheme (NSS Unit III) of the Faculty of Allied and Health Care Sciences, Bareilly International University, Bareilly, successfully concluded a 7-day special camp organized at the nearby village Dohariya, Block Bithri Chainpur, Bareilly. On the final day, a closing ceremony was आयोजित where a comprehensive presentation of the week-long awareness activities was showcased, witnessing enthusiastic participation from both students and villagers.

During the camp, NSS volunteers conducted extensive awareness drives on key issues such as cleanliness, health, environmental conservation, education, women empowerment, financial literacy, and social awareness. Through rallies, door-to-door campaigns, and interactive sessions, villagers were sensitized about maintaining hygiene, disease prevention, safe digital transactions, importance of education for children, and eradication of social evils.
Faculty members actively contributed to the success of the camp. Ms. Swarnima Singh created awareness on women’s safety and empowerment, while Ms. Manisha Saxena explained the importance of health and hygiene in simple terms. Ms. Mahima Tiwari highlighted environmental conservation and the need for tree plantation, whereas Ms. Shreya Bhardwaj emphasized the importance of education. Ms. Sujata Katiyar provided valuable insights into financial literacy and digital payment security.

In his message, Principal Dr. Prashant Gupta stated that such camps help in developing a sense of social responsibility and service among students and play a crucial role in bringing positive change in society. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Lata Agrawal appreciated the initiative and expressed that the university will continue to promote such community-oriented activities.

Academic In-charge Dr. Amarnath Sharma also appreciated the efforts of the volunteers and mentioned that such programs significantly contribute to the holistic development of students. Village Head Mr. Netrapal and Primary School Principal Mrs. Manju Singhal also praised the camp, describing it as highly beneficial and inspiring for the village community.

The camp was successfully conducted under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Mr. Ankit Kumar. Volunteers participated with great enthusiasm and dedication, establishing meaningful engagement with the rural community.
On the concluding day, participants were felicitated, and a commitment was taken to continue such social initiatives in the future. The villagers appreciated the efforts and termed the initiative as impactful and inspiring.
